FYI – if you subscribe to Netflix and you’re watching on your computer, especially a laptop – the sound volume on some movies is not loud enough. I found that using a set of headphones helps.

I have a bit of financial experience having invested in stocks in the 1960s & 70s, commodities in the 80s & commercial real estate in the 90s (I sold in 2005.) I'm back in stocks.
I am appalled at our rapidly deteriorating global condition so I've written articles for family, friends & colleagues since 2007; warning them and doing my best to explain what's happening, what we can expect in the future and what you can do to prepare and mitigate the worst of the economic, social, political and nuclear fallout.
As a public service in 2010 I decided to create a blog accessible to a larger number of people because I believe that knowledge not shared is wasted.
check the loudness equalizer box
Thanks for the tip.

Yeah I’ve noticed its not loud enough. What makes it worse is that the fan on my graphics card or the main computer goes into overdrive and gets really loud. I have to listen to the hum of the fan all the time. At least now I can turn off the HD and I think that quiets the fan a bit
And its not my speakers because flash movies can be way too loud. A lot of things can be. But with netflix I’ve tried everything. I turned up the main windows volume control all the way up and I turn my speakers all the way up. So that means I have to be careful to turn them both down when I use youtube.
Yes, it’s definitely Netflix because I have no sound problems wth other sources.
