Welcome to Gerold’s Bunk-Buster Blog

This is a Bunk Buster blog with a unique perspective that helps you cut through the BS you’re fed by the main stream media (MSM) or mass media or what I call the Ass Media. If you’re looking for lightweight entertainment or you can’t stand to have your beliefs challenged, then you better stop reading this and watch the crap on TV.
.
This blog is designed for people who can read and think critically. If you can’t make the time for some long articles then stick with your sound bites and Tweets. Good luck.
.
My mission is to empower you with knowledge to avoid being fleeced like the other sheep. I don’t have all the answers but I’ll help you cut through the crap with unusual ideas and perspectives you won’t find anywhere else. Where you go from there is entirely up to you.
.
Posts range from global financial doom & gloom to everyday hints & tips, news, viewpoints, humor and LOTS more. New posts are added once or twice a month but the 2,000 (Plus) page Humor Category is usually updated weekly.
.

If you want to learn more, it’s easier than you think because real economics is just common sense unlike the incomprehensible, neo-Keynesian crap they teach in universities. Occupy Sesame Street

Reading time: 1,393 words, 3 to 5.5 minutes

The Sesame Street generation’s occupation of Wall Street, Bay Street, and other places continues apace and seems to be growing. Their rage and frustration is understandable…

Toronto woman acquitted of killing boyfriend

Reading time: 753 words, 2 to 3 minutes

I’ve created a new Category called ’Male-Bashing’ for news and views on feminism run amok and the double standard we’ve created where women can LITERALLY get away with murder and where men are treated with contempt and ridicule in the ass media. It’s no wonder that movements like Marriage Strike have sprung up. It’s even less of a wonder that the marriage rate is dropping. Men are becoming fed up with being treated as nothing more than sperm banks and wallets. Courts treat men as second-class citizens and as nothing…

I am an Anarchist

Reading time: 1,312 words, 3 to 5 minutes

Given my disdain for socialists and my contempt for communists and marxists, I am sometimes accused of being a hard-hearted conservative. I may be hard-hearted (tough love works) but I am not a conservative. I am an anarchist.

Occupy Wall Street – Idiots & Hypocrites

Reading time 1,070 words, 3 to 4 minutes

Don’t get me wrong; I’m all in favor of protests and demonstrations to let the powers-that-be know we’re on to them, or raise a little consciousness, or spread the message about something important, or even just for a bit of fun. I like to think my demonstrating against the Vietnam War way back when had some sort of an effect and America didn’t retreat just because they were losing a war they couldn’t win or were running out of cash.

But Occupying Wall Street or anywhere else is rather pointless…

I will allow your angry shite to remind my gentle readers what uncivilized trash slithers among us.

Does your mother know you talk like that?

If you don’t like what I say, why do you read it? Go start your own blog.

I was looking for ways to remove road salt from carpet (possibly using tsp) and I happened upon this blog. (I recently bought a box and find great pleasure adding it to each and every load of laundry…and dishwasher too….)
I’ve bookmarked your blog and will spend hours here….this is great.
Being an avid Glenn Beck…. here is something he read yesterday on his radio show….
    Seven national crimes:
    1. I don’t think.
    2. I don’t know.
    3. I don’t care.
    4. I am too busy.
    5. I leave well enough alone.
    6. I have no time to read and find out.
    7. I am not interested.
    • You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
    • You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
    • You cannot help little men by tearing down big men.
    • You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
    • You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
    • You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
    • You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
    • You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
    • You cannot build character and courage by destroying man’s initiative and independence.
    • And you cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

Me too Beck fan: guilty as charged. Interesting that Beck would call them ‘national’ crimes because they are distinctly Amerikan.

It’s sad that I had to Google ‘William J.H. Boetcker’ having never heard of the author of such profound gems. It’s sadder still that Lincoln is often erroneously attributed as the author especially since ‘old Abe’ is greatly exaggerated in myth & lore.

  3. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate your efforts and
I am waiting for your next post thanks once again.

  4. Hi,
My name is Ileana Grigorescu and I’m contacting you with a business proposal. I browsed through your blog and read some of the articles you have there.

I, together with my colleagues have a survival information website as well: http://www.myfamilysurvivalplan.com/. I propose that we exchange some survival articles and promote each other on our websites. You post our articles, we post yours, and we both add each other’s link on each website.

In the meantime, feel free to browse on our website and read the articles! I think this can be a win-win situation for both of us.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Ileana Grigorescu

Thank you. I appreciate your interest in my blog.

However, I try to control my readership. I do not want increased volume. I avoid search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. I write long articles with boring charts and graphs. I target a small, dedicated audience; family, friends, colleagues. There are several reasons for this.

First, I’m concerned about ‘self-fulfilling prophecy’. If enough people believe something will happen, it increases the likelihood of it happening.

Second, the larger a blog the more of a threat if becomes to the ruthless ‘powers-that-be’. Smaller is less of a target with less likelihood of retaliation.

Third, if the boob-tube watchers and attention-deficit-disordered video generation hasn’t woken up yet and begun preparation for survival, then they’re screwed and sadly, there’s nothing I can do for them now.

I wish you success with your survival blog.
